What Is Horsetail?
Horsetail, Equisetum arvense, is an ancient botanical with a long history of traditional use. The plant is particularly known for its naturally occurring mineral content and distinctive silica-rich plant structure.
In skincare, Horsetail can be incorporated through different extraction methods. Pure Intox uses Horsetail as a botanical oil infusion in Herbal Restoration Balm, allowing oil-soluble constituents from the plant material to become incorporated into the nourishing carrier oil.
